Default New winch installed!

Finally got the 12000lb winch mounted up front and I'm very pleased with out it turned out! all I did was order a curt front hitch mount and was pretty easy to install and got the winch quick connects so I can take it off at any time.... let me know what you think...

Yep thats why I decided to do this instead of the hidden winch.... The only thing I need though is the power cable to run to the back

If you want the winch to work when you need it, make sure you spray the cable with lubricating oil, and pull the cable out and wind it back at least three times a year.
I know someone that got killed because of a stuck cable on a winch, but it's a long story.

That bar is rated 12k? That doesn't look attached enough to be rated that high.
( I get worried since I seen a ball fly off a hitch threw a back window!)
Remember the weakest part gives.
Make sure that is the best it can be secured before testing that.

I highly doubt that badland winches will hold 12k on a single line. I have a 12k warn in my hidden mount and it definitely has a lot bigger motor than that. But it looks good.
