I have a 97 too.. just get on superbrightleds.com and they actually have a vehicle-specific bulb finder on there. It narrows it down to all the bulbs that fit your vehicle.

C'mon, guys! Go the whole nine yards! I did my doors, courtesy lights, dash, temp control, headlight switch, bed lights and even the FOGS in LEDs (9006 LED assemblies were about $10 apiece, so they're the most costly ones I installed). The hyper white ones have a color temp of 6000K, which is close to a slight blue HID. On a '97 and '98, hyper white is artic blue, thanks to the film in the cluster. In addition to the updated, cool look, the power consumed is minimal! A fog light is usually 35-55 watts, while the LED is 1W. (I ordered some 4 W versions of the 9006, so I'll post if it's any brighter).
Good Job, Guys! Keep up the good work!

Do you have any idea on how to replace the glove box light bulb? I have a 97 XLT.

Mine were easy to get out. Just reach around to the back on the bulb covers.. it should twist out. You then just gently pull the bulb out of the socket.
