Many thanks for all the extra info OhioLariat;, it's hard trying to make purchases for my truck when I've not seen any of the products on offer or likely to until they've arrived [to late then!].

Contoured mudflaps? do you mean something like this

https://www.summitracing.com/int/par...rd/model/f-150

Cheers for your help

Yes, but the ones I've seen are black rubber. I don't know that I like those stainless ones.
Of course, if you look at my truck you'll see I generally don't prefer blingy thingys and baubles on my vehicles.

Hi Brian,

Not sure where in the UK you are but there are several companies over here that do consolidated shipping and bring things over for people

I use Ron @ STS Imports, their USA base is in Florida but that's not too much of a problem since most places offer free shipping throughout the USA

Ron brought over my truck, a gearbox for my 97 Mustang and this month he shipped my Bed Extender for the truck

He's based in Essex but can arrange forward shipping of items if needed once they are in the UK

Hope this helps

Adrian.

OhioLariat great build thread, just been through the lot

AdrianP Actually dealing with Ron [STS] and he could be favourite for bringing my parts over and he's even got a container coming over end of this month

I think he's in the States at the moment, he replied to my last email from Heathrow so waiting for him to get back.

Thanks for the headsup

Brian

The previous owner said he thought it was the ****, after reading so much about blend doors and actuators I dismissed this without checking further.

If you hadn't of brought this up I'd of replaced everything else first

Well done

The N-fab bars were the only wheel to wheel ones I could find, the price isn't bad if you live in the U.S. you can more than double that shipping to the UK

So was it the ****? if it was, im glad i could help. Cause i know i was looking into all the actuators also, and since i work at a FORD dealer i have a few friends that can help with the work and was about to bite the bullet and do the work, good thing i checked the ***** first

and yeah im sure shipping out of the us is a real killer especially with bulky items. Another reason i haven't bought them is, im not sure how much longer im keeping ol clifford.

I haven't checked yet

I'm not a 100% confident on how or what to test.
I don't have a clue how to get the ***** out yet.
Do I want to start and not have a replacement here just in case?
My other trucks started dripping oil on the drive.

Poor excuses but a little chicken, can't afford to mess things up

I'll have to see if I can find a youtube video on how to do it
