I just put a flowmaster 40 series on my 02' F-150. I mounted the muffler and then put a 4" turn down just in front of the rear axle. Sounds awesome while idling and not to loud when traveling down the road at 65 mph. Highly recommend it.

Should be all done for under 200 unless you get chrome tips added. The tips is where most of the shops put it to ya! I know when I had dual exhaust tips I spent over a 120 just for the tips, so keep in mind, the tips are pricey.

If you just get them to do the pipe out the rear side or turned down behind the muffler you'll be under 200 easily.

The 50 series cost a little more then the 40. Also don't let them bs you either, the 50 series is longer and a little wider then the short little 40 series. I've heard stories of some shops here in Ga. telling people that they installed the more expensive 50 series and actually sticking the 40's on instead. There is a visual difference between the two. I actually threw away a 40 series the other day that came off an old truck I use to have...I suppose I could have sold it...LOL.

Your looking at about 25 -30 dollars in price difference between the 40 and 50 series Flowmasters.
