You can try one of those pull, pick and run like you stole it cause you did places.

Tasca has those hard to find parts on occasion. Might have to resort to a salvage yard to get one. Those are the kind of parts they like to discontinue.

Good to know. The few I've found have been broken as well. I'd like to get another on there on mine as well.

When you get a good one make sure it's clipped in on bottom, maybe that's why it fractured.

Your ground screw on the chassis needs a little tlc too. I went under that cover and pulled everything off and cleaned it up. After 20 years figured it couldn't hurt.

Agreed. I need to make it a point to clean up my connections and possibly overhaul the cabling. I have times to where I have to pop the hood and move my negative connection around to get the truck to turn over.

The original number is F75Z-14A099-LA. It is available. Since the OP has a 99, this is the correct number not XL3Z-FA. It fits:
Ford
Excursion
2000-2005
Ford
Expedition
Ford
F150
1997-2004
Ford
F250
1997-1999
Lincoln
Navigator
1998-2002

Upon further checking, there is also a F75Z-14A099-PA available. I can't find the difference, the pic is the same in the catalog, but the price is 3 times the cost of the LA number. Go figure.
