Default multifunction switch

I've been having an issue with my turning signals. They speraticly work, some times fine the whole drive some times they only give me one flick or a couple, my harzard lights work perfectly so I don't think it's the flasher fuse. Is there a quick fix for this, a in depth fix for it, or am I better off buy another one from a junkyard or autozone?

Buy new, there's a lot of functions that go through that thing...you want it all to work as long as possible.

So i installed a NEW multifunction switch today, still having same issue, turn signal works more frequently now but still stops randomly, checked fuse 17 on driver side fuse box and it looked good also checked relay 1 in same fuse box was good also, it seemed warm tho but I figured it was from all the testing of the blinkers, any ideas what I should look for?

You guys have snow? Had this with my truck 2 weeks ago, I pulled it into the shop at work started fiddling around with other things, (tailgate latch, rims, tire pressures a/f) that crap forgot about the turn signal problem completely and it fixed itself lol. Something might be iced up or wet under the hood. Mine went away after it thawed out.

Nope south texas haven't had snow in ten years I think it's a power shortage or a fuse issue somewhere just don't know where

I noticed today that my turn signals stopped working with my wheel all the way down, so I raised it up a bit and they started working. So perhaps a harness issue.

Checked the steering wheel wires they looked fine when I replaced the switch, i.do have an update tho, on my way home I pushed my power window button and noticed my headlights got dim as I pushed it, this was after I noticed that three blinker didn't work at ask with my head lights turned on, as i.got home i got home I pressed the button again while in drive and my whole truck shut down, so I check my battery terminals cleaned it, still no power at all, work my way to my main battery fuse.box on the fire wall, found when I pressed it in an angle with my neg ground wire (black) my lights came back on, removed the cover of the ground and found my neg bolt down in the harness was.corroded, so I'm in the proccess.of trying to get it off n clean it, waiting for the rust pen wd40 to soak so i.can loosen it up clean it and try it again ... Fingers crossed
