I believe it will be completely fine but if u take that 60 dollar injector back to autozone u can order a set of 8 remanufactured ones off ebay for close to the same price

Back at Ford and they tested some more things mainly that circuit and they are thinking its a ground in the PCM side of things as there is a dead miss at idle and under load.

Im gonna attempt to pull the wiring harness off now that I am at home in North Carolina and give it a more detailed look with it out of the truck and tools available. On the 3000 mile journey from Reno to here I can tell you that it is intermittent depending on rpms, acelleration speed, and whether I am going up hill or from a complete stop or not. I think there might really be a wire grounding out somewhere so we shall see. Hate the thought of pulling that intake off to do it though.

I cant say it wasnt an adventurous trip as when I got to Arkansas I discovered half my belt was wrapped around the base of the fan Good thing there was an Autozone nearby and they lend tools and their parking lot lol.

Sent you a pm thank you so much. I did replace that injector but with one of the used ones I have not the new one. After that I also swapped it with #3 hoping the miss would move and it didn't. Ford ended up taking the red wire from 4 and jumping it to 1s injector wire. Not sure that was a good idea and sure didn't help but all the did was splice and wrap it

I will get on the computer shortly and get ur pm u sent. I don't under stand why the would splice that wire across like that unless cylinder 1 hits the same time 4 does.... But that still seems like that would not be a good idea??? Do u have junk yards around u?
