Should be 6.0 to 13 ohms, if you have the right resistance then put 1 prong on the tab and 1 on the iac body to check for internal short... Check both tabs

Don't get a reading from the terminals to the body with our set on 200 ohms. Should it be set on something else?

I was thinking last night that I took all plug wires out and cleaned them up then reinstalled. I didn't mark which one went where just put them in where they fit. At the point I went from a cylinder 4 miss to a cylinder 6 miss. So was thinking that it might be that wire. I checked its resistance thus morning and it was 14.something so I think its good. Swapped it with cylinder 5 and am going to see if my miss moves...as soon as I have gas money...sitting on empty right now

What did you clean plugs and wires with? Did you put di-electric grease on them?

I just used a flat screwdriver to remove all the old grease and wiped the outside with a clean wire. I didn't put grease back in them as I didn't have any.

This truck has taken everything I had in savings already considering the motor cost and everything else i have thrown at it and am currently unemployed so can't afford to buy it. The sad part is I need it running right to find a job so its a catch 22...
