live data help
Happy Birthday.
From what I was taught the reason for using referenced values is so the relationship between the sensor's data is all evenly scaled. In particular doing this is valuable when sensor data isn't linear.

I picked up this gauge from HF and it is showing 65 psi fuel pressure at idol.

In any event, we do not know HOW he got that reading so there's no way to know if it's a valid reading that is actually useful for diagnostics. With the engine running and no vacuum applied to the regulator, it would be normal for the pressure to be "high" since there's no regulation of the pressure.

kd4gij,
Do you have a stock tune and stock injectors? Didn't think this applied or was helpful but someone who looked at your data said something to the effect of, "Looks like someone put in larger injectors and pretended that the engine is boosted and they were a tuner."
Your fuel pressure has me wondering about what he said now.

KD......remember the past 2 years where guys were having the same exact problem? Most were related to heat. The final diagnosis and repair was replacing the fuel pump. The check valve messes up and throws the pressure out of sight then goes to nothing then back to pressure.
I think it was DrillRig and one other from AZ that were having the most problems. A new fuel pump cured the problem. That is where I would be looking. The threads are there from then, so you can read them and figure if this matches your problems.
