I'm pretty sure the 4.2 and 5.4 diffs are completely different.

#1 i can drive in the rain i did just fine with my other truck

#2 i have firestone transforce at on it and they have prob gettin thru dry grass wen babyn the gas and im gona get tires wen theses ware out they came on the truck and last they fixed the road cause other ppl was havin problems to we never had a prob with this road till they repaved it but its all good now

Why would want to go to a standard axle? I sure wish mine had the limited-slip option. Nothing worse than 2 wheels spinning on a 4wd, and you can't have nearly the fun without it. 1 wheel is just boring vs sending it sideways.

So your gonna "fix" this by spending 300-1000$(depending which path you choose) or you can actually fix the probably and buy tires. My p rated nittos came in at 610$ plus you can sell your current tires and make some of the money back.

If you have a problem getting through dry grass with limited slip and A/Ts something definately wrong...
