Most sane people don't put lights on the cowl or hood because of the whitewash (Not to be confused with Whitelash) across the hood that makes visibility worse.

Many people here like the 35-39" bars behind their grill.

I keep thinking about getting a lightbar but I keep putting it off for things more important.

X2. A lot of people run the 32" curved bars behind their grill instead of on the bumper to prevent theft. The curved bar also keeps you from having to cut the grill support.

Lol I just figured you were talking about total lengths and not just class lengths.
