Default Light bar location

Hey guys,
I'm trying to decide where I can mount a light bar. I know I can get brackets for the roof if I get a 50 inch light bar. What are my other options?
I tried searching to see if I could get one into the lower valance but I could not find anything. Anyone know if I can get one to fit there? If I can does a 32 inch bar fit?

Behind the grill? Cut the 2 small bars out the hole in the lower valance and install there?

That was my thoughts for the lower valance. I thought I remembered someone doing this awhile ago but I couldn't find it anywhere. So do you think a 32 would fit in either spot?

I have a thread about a 32 behind grille. Look at it. Also for in valence -

Seems simple enough for behind the grille. I would go with the curved like you did. I didn't see ur thread about the valance tho. It looks like in your pic u just mount it directly to the valence? Did you just use a straight light bar for that one?

It's not my picture. So not sure what size. But it is a straight bar. I have two rigid industries cubes in my valence. Brighter than my 32"

You got enough light output lol. I have the three bar grille so I'm not sure if they would get in the way of the light bar. I guess I'll just have to go measure tomorrow sometime how wide that valence is

20-22" would fit in the valence. I had to cut mine to get it to fit right but that wasn't bad at all. 32" would fit in the grille, or some round LED lights would work back there too.

Okay thanks for the info. I'm going to go with the 20 in the lower valence and just bolt it right to that.

I never actually got mine fully mounted. But if you're going to drill into the plastic and mount it there, personally I would take a piece of 2" flat bar and cut a couple of squares out of it and drill a hole in them and mount it to the back side of the valence to give it a little more support. That plastic is strong but I'd imagine the extra support wouldn't hurt.
