Default Leveling kit

Looking to buy some 16x10 wheels wrapped in 33's. Will they fit with stock height? If not, my friend offered me his 2" leveling kit for his 2001 dodge 2500 4wd. What are the odds of them fitting?

The odds are about the same as your key starting his truck.

Crank your tbars to 23.5 and get an alignment. If you aren't sure what I'm talking about get a shop to do it. Leveling kit won't work.

My opinion, get a tape out and measure to see where the tires will sit in your well I don't know a whole lot about what the pre 6 lug 150s will fit under them stock, but as far as 04.5 and up go you have to level out 2.5" (some will tell you 2.0") to squeeze a 35" tire so you might be able to make it work. As far as the leveling kit goes, there is no way that you can interchange a leveling kit off of a Dodge onto a Ford. I would check out the Rancho 9000 series 2.5" leveling kit: easiest to install, brings the truck to a true "level" stance and is very cost effective over other "coil over" oriented suspension systems (you won't have to recompress the front spring if you do the install as the spring is preloaded on the strut. I ran a Rancho 9000 series quick lift set up on my 04.5 and the thing handled like a car (used to corner inside and outside of unexperienced beemer drivers). Like anything else, you have a tremendous amount of options when it comes to leveling the truck, so see what's in your budget and check out what other guys are doing that's working well. Hope this helps

We have plain coil springs not coil overs, iv been playing around with ideas to convert over though:P to the OP: you can get coil spacers for our truck very cheap, just check ebay.
