98Ruby I'm aware of the stock suspension set up on 04.5 and up rigs, if you read the post I stated a "coil over oriented" set up with a 9000 series rancho kit as it does not require you to re-compress the stock spring and is a singlular all encompassing system, but good luck with going to true cool overs let me know what you come up with for sure. Furthermore Drew, (and this is opinion only im not bashing what other guys do or what other people think) I would highly recommend against buying hockey pucks because, although a cheap alternative, you will be putting unneeded stress on the springs and all other front end components that they were not designed to handle and you will have compress the spring now with a puck in between the upper housing which is a huge pain in the *** and can be very dangerous without the proper tools. Pucks can become dislodged and will give you a worse overall ride because the front springs are not designed to sit under that compression. Bilstein 5100s are a cheaper alternative that reuses the stock spring, but the max you can get out of the shock (after adjusting the height and relocating the mount) is 2.0" which will
Still leave you a little nose heavy. There are a ton of kits out there that are cheap, but coming from a guy who was in the lifted jeep world for a long time spending a little extra money will go a long way with getting what you want out of the truck while giving you a much better overall ride and not sacrificing unneeded stress on front end components.
