Default LED headlight issue

2003 F150. Attempting to change out my old headlight bulbs for LED units. I changed one bulb leaving the passenger side old bulb in place to compare. The led flickers when using the acc switch position. When I start the truck the flicker stops however the high beams don’t work on the led, old bulb functions as before. Any suggestions folks? TIA

I put them in my 97, and haven't had any issues. I did have similar issues on my Toyota though, and I sent them back to Amazon.

I used Auxito's... they just work!

If you use cheap Amazon bulbs, Auxito, etc, you’ll have issues. Buy a quality brand.

I know several people with Auxito's. Never seen an issue. You say buy a better brand, but don't make any recommendations?

I checked my Amazon order history, and it looks like my headlights as well as some of the others are Auxito brand... All lightbulbs on my truck have been replaced with LEDs. So far, so good. The headlights have been on there a couple years as far as the bulbs go. The housings have been replaced in the last year...

Auxito gave out lots of free lights on this forum a couple years ago. Everything I tried had some issue or another.

They either didn’t fit correctly, would fail and quit working quickly or their output claim was way off.

You will find things much better than Amazon junk here. Hint, you get what you pay for.
