Default Kill Switch To Fuel Pump?

Has anyone installed a killswitch on their f150 2000 to 2003? I want to make a kill switch for the fuel pump so that the truck won't start without flipping the switch. I want to prevent my vehicle from being stolen thanks.

Just pull the fuel pump relay under the hood. Are you handing out lots of keys? They are chipped, so not just any key would work.

That aside, I haven’t been under the dash in a while, but there should be room along the steering column to splice a toggle switch in the ignition cylinder harness on the hot wire.

you have a chipped key, that will keep the casual car thief away. Thats all you really need

if someone wants it bad enough they will find a way to take it

Oh okay I thought so too, but I do have a aftermarket Viper alarm as well on it. Does turning the wheel while vehine off in park also prevent people from picking on it? I believe it's called the steering wheel lock where you turn your steering wheel and it locks.

Why would you need a kill switch, specially for a 99 plus model ? Is your ignition wore out and sloppy ?

Dang man, what's up with user name...are you the enemy ?

If they want to steal your audio system they won't care about a fuel pump kill switch... heck they probably won't even care about your alarm system just smash and grab. If a thief wants it bad enough they'll get it.

Best thing to keep your audio system safe, don't plaster brand name stickers all over your windows, don't blare your music as youre parking, don't leave the setup half finished... subs and amps should be under/behind seats don't just set them on the seats, and tint your windows.
