Default Keyless entry keypad issue

Hey fella's,

Can anyone help me with a keyless entry keypad reprogram?
I bought my truck from auction and they did not have the code for the keypad. Is there a way to reprogram this keypad? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks and happy holidays.

i know on my crown vic, the code is stamped a couple places on the car...like on the truck arm/hinge. i thought there was another way to find it, but im sure you can check with the dealer. i believe you can change the access number, but the original one (once you find it) will always be the main one.

Contact Ford customer service, not a dealer.

Default key pad code

get on your back under the dash on the driver side and look for the code on a label up by where the pedals mount the factory code will be there.

I found the white box, and a 5 digit code in large print, but it would not unlock the doors when I punched it in. Any ideas?

There's always a chance the previous owner changed the code. I'd look thru the owners manual if you have one, call Ford's customer service, and as a last resort take it to the stealership.

As far as I can tell, everything is plugged in correctly. This is the exhisting unit, so I dont think it was ever unplugged. When I enter the code from the box into the keypad the truck's interior dome light and the back light come on. Maybe I will try to contact Ford to see if they can help. I do not have an owners manual.
