It's a start!
Sold the topper, finally! Removed the aluminum steps, as I plan on getting black nerf bars. Took off the pin stripping (the $x$ Off Road decals are next!)... And blacked out the tail lights and 3rd brake light as a temporary pretty until I get the smoked LED tails, 3rd brake, and headlights that I want... Got new pin stripping that I'm waiting for my neighboor (a body guy) to help me install because I couldn't make a straight line to save my life! HAHA! The new pin stripe is a barbed wire design done in black. I'll get pics up when it's done!

As a reference... This is what it looked like the day I bought it... In my opinion, it's much better without the topper... Plus, I sold the dumb thing for enough money to make the 1st payment on the truck! HAHA!
Thank you! The impact strips on the doors will also be nothing but a memory soon, lol! Then some touch-up paint for some of the scratches so they don't rust, and after that I'll be attacking it with roll on bed liner.. Not just in the bed, but also on the lower part of the body, the fender flares, and the gray plastic and painted pieces of the bumpers. Also wanting to paint the grille black and redo the black paint on the radiator after I straighten out the fins from the years of large bugs and small rocks slamming in to it. Not that that part matters for cosmetics, but straightening up the fins will help ensure that the cooling and A/C systems work as well as possible.

Oh, I plan on it... It's been almost 4 years since I've had a truck (unless you count the POS 95 Suburban I had for a few months) and boy did I miss it! My old Lincoln Town Car was nice, but it just wasn't a truck, LOL! This baby isn't going anywhere unless it gets totalled or something! Even then, I may have to try and salvage it! HAHA!
Go buy an undercoating gun for like $30. The liners spray way better than they roll on. I recently sprayed a headache rack using Plastikote (cheap stuff) and it turned out better than Hurculiner when rolled on. Saves time too. You could easily lay one coat on the bed in about 20-30 min plus it's a lot of fun.
