Zap: I'll check into that, could be a good way to go, thank you!

And 200d 5.4: I like my 87 F150 a heck of a lot better. For once thing, the 5.0 got much better mileage in town. And for another, it was just a beefier looking truck and it had a better ride quality in my opinion. But this seems to be a nice truck, too!

i had a '87 and a '96, both the ride sucked compared to this one IMO, but both of them were a million times more fun than this one is in town, my '87 had a mustang 5.0 roller motor in it (ex-street racing truck, great sleeper) it would pick the front end up at least 2" if you got a good take off (manual trans)
my '96 had a ton of ignition mods, it would pick the front end up and it was a super cab! (5 speed) i broke 1 driveshaft and 3 u-joints in that truck.. but im 17 and i needed more room in the back seat and 4x4 to get in those "hard to reach places" when theres a nice "seat cover" ridin shotgun lol

I used that product on my 4 wheeler racks, man its nice and easy to apply

something else real cheap that you could do, imo everyone with PTM door handles should PTM the tailgate handle, get a spray can of color code matching paint and a big can or clear glaze and go to town on that tailgate handle, makes the back of your truck look better

Kinda throws my tailgate off I think. Has a massive Class V rated bumper sitting under it that is powder coated black and the other accessories are all black on the truck as well.

If I still had the painted bumpers on the truck and not the heavy duty replacements I think it would look better. Never thought about doing that but now that I think about it, makes sense and makes me wonder why Ford didn't do it in the factory.

I beilieve mine is closer to a gray at the moment. The truck has never been sheltered and has been outside it's whole life. Needless to say the paint and trim is fading.
