03 F150 FX4 with interior code MT. I need solid confirmation of which colorbond paint I need for for a respray of driver's side door panel. Most sites say just "graphite", or "medium graphite" or simply "dark graphite" Ford dealer said "dark graphite". Even calling Colorbond could not provide a solid answer.
Anyone that has done this please advise what you used!!!

 

Look at the drivers side door tag. On the lower section, see the term "Int Tr". The letter(s) are what you need to order or buy the correct color. The name means nothing. It is the letter(s) that tell the paint guys what is correct and needed. Here is a list for Ford Trucks for 2003. Your code will be on there.

Note: I know you already listed your trim code, but for others looking I made sure to tell them where to look.

M—Cloth 40/20/40 seats with rear bench mono. F-Series
T - Graphite (Econoline, F-150, F-250, Ranger) If you look closely, T and 2 are the same paint with different names. One is called Medium Graphite and the other just Graphite.

Could the G be an B or 8? All leather is in numerical numbers with 2 exceptions.

I bought the truck from my dad, he was not the o/o- but the window sticker is in the owners manual- the free carfax sounds awful, and i know dad had an accident in it just before i got it, but it is in very good shape overall. Heres the door jamb sticker-(if i do this right)

 

Well, heres the thing. An interior might say "medium parchment". But the interior may be actually two-tone. Medium parchment and "medium dark "parchment.

On mine the doors and seat are medium parchment. Armrests are medium dark parchment. Dash and steering wheel is medium dark parchment. Carpet is dark parchment as well. Its more mefium dark than medium .

My door panels in front were nasty and oxidized white and chalky around window
Take can of proper color and foam brush and just dab it on oxidized area its textured and blends in.

Looks like new. No need to paint whole panel, or mask off

You can go to paint shop and get them to mix color in SEM paint and put in spray can. About $25.
