I recently put my 95 up for sale so that I can buy something newer and 4x4.. I came across an 03 sc lariat with the fx4 package. Has the 5.4 with 94k mi. Owner is asking $8800. ? Is does that seem reasonable for the info provided? Thank you in advance

 

seems pretty reasonable to me. mine was similar to that and at a dealership it was around 15k out the door. i would try to talk him down a bit if u can, but seems like a good deal if it has been well maintained. just make sure u get it checked out at a shop.

 

Thats an average of about 9500 miles a year Hmm not a daily driver. What is the average price in your area for this truck on the open market? Is this one over priced or under priced? Did he list any known problem? Just some quick thoughts, Hope these help.

Average from what I understand is around 12000 to 15000, my daily driver is about 13000 a year.

 

Kbb in my area from the info I have shows private sale at 9400 so it's under. As far as known problems there were none mentioned. The gentleman is the original owner and according to him was meticulous on p m. Plus just put all new brakes

 

Based on what you have told me it sound like a good deal. Have a shop you trust check it out before you commit.

Got my 02 screw lariat no fx4, 150,000 5.4 back in April this year was a FL truck it's first 7yrs. The guy wanted $8200 I got it for $8000. If its clean I would say that sounds like a pretty good deal.
