Lookin into a truck to trade in for my bros escape. im tied between the chevys and fords. i heard the chevy 97-06 have been a lot better than the ford 97-08 what are yalls thoughts about the f150?

As far as i know fords were pretty rough in 04-08 with the 5.4 phaser problems. But other than that, good. Don't buy a chevy.

 

Get an 04+ ford or an obs Chevy...

 

I dont know how much money you have to spend or how easy it is to find this special truck, but look for a f150 Roush Nitemare. Truck is sick.

 

We obviously hate the f150s, this is actually a f150 hate group.

I have a 98 4x4 with 4.6 V8 engine and manual transmission. I like my truck and will never trade it for a Chevrolet. The Chevy trucks are my second choice if a Ford F150 or F250 was not available. Guess you could say that I am Ford F150 all the way.

 

I had a 97 f150 5 speed and I bagged the **** out of it and the truck held up great then traded it for a Chevy and drove it nice and all I had was problem after problem and now I got a 03 f150 king ranch and its f'n amazing!!
