Well Apparently the OP is going to renege on pics of his turn-out. No big deal.

 

So here's what you need to do to extend the Gott's mod past the engine air chamber.

The outer hole, -

This is how most are done, -therefore sucking from the chamber leading back into the engine compartment, the chamber runs in front of the degas bottle, then routes to the radiator/engine compartment.

A piece of 3" schedule 40 was used here. This matches up perfectly with the outer hole..it fits tight. There is a 1.5" tapper sanded inside the pipe for a smother transition into the intake. With this lttle add on, your sure to get outside air when the vehicle is moving. You will stationary as well, more so in motion. A shot of that, -

 

I saw where you said it could be done with the volant box. I don't under stand why you have to have the notch in the fender though?
