Default How correct is the speedometer?

i just put 33's on my truck along with heavier steel wheels. Does anyone know how much the speedometer is off by with 33's and if reads faster or slower than the actual speed?

I have 33's on my truck and it's dead nuts right according to the stationary radar in my town. Not enuff difference to to matter even if it was off 1-2 mph.

it depends on what size tires came on the truck from the factory mine says it came with 235/70r16 and it now has 285/75r16

so at 65 on the speedo im doing 73 and at 70 im doing 80

I agree with SOME of that...my truck came with 265/75's and 3:73 gears so it didn't effect me as much as it can others.

gears have NOTHING to do with the speedo unless you are changing the gears
