Default HID headlight question

I am looking for brighter headlights which means I need new headlights. I don't want to mess with my current ones so I am just going to get a whole new assembly. The ones I am looking at do not come with lights in them (it is just the housing), but it says:

"These Headlights ARE NOT Compatible with Factory Xenon H.I.D. System. If you plan to use HID kit, Bulb Application may change, please check the bulb size. Only Compatible with 35 watt HID or something similar to that. It will Work with High Power Halogen Bulb or Aftermarket H.I.D. System Under 8000K"

I do have my stock headlights, but my question is are the 35 watt HID lights going to be brighter than my stock ones? Or will the difference not be worth the extra price?

Smh.

If the kit you're looking at doesn't cost $400 you're going to blind on coming traffic and not have very good output/scattered light.

what assembly are you looking at?

If your planning on HID, you need to have HID projectors (not halogen projectors oe OEM style housings). Only way in this gen to get HID projectors is a HID retrofit.

You could look at an LED kit. The ones I installed in my truck yesterday is way better the crappy stock ones in my opinion. Just requires a little dremel work on the plastic part where the headlights fit into the truck to get the LED assembly to fit. Other than that they were plug and play no splicing needed.

Interesting. No night time shots though?

Blupher says his wife's car didn't get the same distance. Curious if you experienced that as well?

Yeah some night shots would be awesome. The kit intrigues me.

There are kits for half the price too. Wondering how they'd compare.
