And just for some comparisons, my halogen low vs retrofit projector HID low:

I did a write up for the 04-08 heads. The only thing different is your "style" of headlight. The rest is the same. It;s really not as hard as it seems. Send me a pm if you have any questions: https://www.f150forum.com/f4/2004-20...it-how-333339/

This is exactly what made me want to go to HID's, haha. Living in florida the weather is complete trash and when it rains my vision is like 10%. Its ridiculous. Any chance you can link me some top quality?

The Silverstars and Silverstar Ultras are far superior to the Xtravisions. If you're having issues in bad weather, your headlights probably need to be aimed.

The color of silverstar makes them useless in bad weather.

yellow is best for bad weather I believe. That's why some cars have yellow fog lights

I've used Silverstars and Ultras in all weather conditions. (heavy rain, heavy snow, heavy dust, thick fog, etc....) Unless upgrading to LED or HID projector retrofits, I wouldn't use anything else.
