Help with vibration

Default Help with vibration

I get a vibration from the rear when I'm turning and accelerating. Anyone else have this problem if so what's wrong/what u do to fix it
02 fx4 with 124,000 miles if that helps

It is really hard to say. If it were me, I would jack up the rear wheel where you hear the vibration and inspect the tire, wheel, wheel bearings. See if the wheel is loose on the bearings as it should turn freely but not move from side to side. See if you have a problem with the tire like perhaps an object embedded in the tread. See if anything else is loose like the shocks or any damage to the springs or suspension.

This may not be it. But an Fx4 should have a limited-slip differential. Urs could be acting up(replace ur rear diff fluid and add friction modifier to fix)

I've been seeing a lot on a google search about changing the fluid and addis 2 bottles of friction multi. So guess I need to do that and go from there

Default shaking in rear diffieriential

after changing fluid and adding limited slip modifier, find a large area and drive in figure eight patterns four or five times. What this does is lubricate the posititraction clutch discs in the diffieriential

How many ounces of friction modifier do I need

I got 3 quarts of ams 75w 140 gear oil
There modifier comes in 4 oz tubes

It should say in the back of the owners manual, but i think its 4oz. I recently did mine and thats what i believe it took.

Ok any other suggestions I just changed all my fluids and filters etc with amsoil. I added the friction modifier and still have vibration accelerating from a stop when I'm turning
