Default Help!! Starter

Having issues taking the starter out of my 2001 f150 can not get top bolts and suggestion got tools I need to wrench this sucker out tried elbows extensions gunna burn it lol thanks

Take the passenger wheel off. You can see it after that. I had 3 extensions and a knuckle on the end. Sometimes it helps if someone else guides it from below and is there to catch it.

Thanks I have the tire off and about to take the inner wheel well off just to get a bit more room but I'll keep at her thanks

I didn't have to take anything off but the tire. Good luck. Easy fix.

Use a 1/4" ratchet with about 10-12"s of extension and it comes out easy from under the truck. I didn't see a need for taking the tire off.

Got it and tire off help for working by myself thanks for the helps bis it was a bit of a bitch but mange to get it

Just make sure not to cross thread it going back it. Use an extension from under the truck to tighten it by hand first.
