Default Help finding single wire gray connector

I have a 2002 F150 Harley Davidson, I replaced the engine and I have a single wire gray connector on the passenger side engine. It is located towards the rear where the supercharger meets the manifold. Looks like something bolted on to a stand where the fuel rail bolts to. any help would be appreciated

Sounds like a car alarm, - info sender. Is it coming from the ignition harness? Yea, those always seem to be a grey single wire that punches thru the firewall somewhere. No where specific.

If its a rectangular connector with a black wire it is a electrical noise suppressor.

Yeap those are single wire connectors and typically bolt to the lower timing cover studs.

Depends on year model and vehicle. My 03 has them on the back of the intake manifold, I have seen some Harley's with them mounted on the back of the intake manifold also.

From what I've seen, with the aluminum intakes, they were bolted on each side of the intake...top of the intake by the the TB elbow.

Composite intakes, I've seen them bolted in front of the intake, -at the timing chain cover.

Yea single black wire, rectangle grey connector. Was under the impresion they have to be bolted to an engine ground.

The Single grey wire, - actually, it's a grey wire black stripe. That went to the ignition and thru the firewall....The grey is the Factory theft, car starter or something like that. Just one grey, some are tied right to a coil. That's usually on the drivers tho.

Also, with the grey wire, there's never a connector, - not that I've seen anyway. I can't recall exactly what it went to. However, I know that it's there, wired to something on the ignitions, then disappears into the firewall.

Yea, I never followed the wire to pin it down yet. Thought about it lol. I've seen them tho on different 10th gen trucks

Well scratch everything I said....dangit! I thought the OP said grey wire!!

Sorry about that. Yea, he's probably referring to the RFI connector.

Surprised no one asked me what the hell I was talking about...bet you thought it lol.
