I'm aware. On the LB7's the best thing you can do is tell the dealer (don't buy from an individual) that you'll take their price if they replace all of the injectors (that's 8 hours of labor right there) with at least 50 horse injectors since they won't fry like the OEM ones.

That being said, it's 8 hours of work to replace a lower intake manifold on a 4.2.

The LLY and up Duramaxes have different heads. You can change all 8 injectors in 30 minutes if you've done it before. Two bolts, disconnect the fuel links coming off the common rail, pull the injectors out. That easy.
