It turned out great, man! I know what you mean about being able to read signs with just the tail lights on, mine are the same way. Having the tail lights that bright making hauling anything large in the bed at night a dream because you can see if it's shifting or a strap's come loose, rather than, it feels like it's fine. LEDs are the way to go, with the light output for the small amount of power they use. You've definitely given me another idea on where to mount a CB antenna when I finally get around to getting one in my truck. Once again, it came out awesome!

I thought I'd add how its holding up 6 months later. I would still look new if it was clean. The backup LEDs started to crap out on me, I contacted Jammy and they overnighted me new ones...a company that stands behind their products. They sent me some lower profile pigtails for the new backups. I cut the butt connectors on the internal wiring and soldered the new pigtails in place. The interior of the rack has some light rust, the interior is just bare steel but also due to all of the little crap that I couldn't clean out of there with a vacuum cleaner. All in all, I'm still quite happy with it.

That it did. Unfortunately it looks like I'll be selling that truck in the next couple of months. I will say before I do, I'm gonna pull the LEDs out and replace them with some TSC incandescent lights and use them on the next truck.

I'm looking at a few Duramaxes.

A 2005 4 door LLY with 68,000 miles for $10,500.
A 2005 reg cab LLY with 83,000 miles for $7000.
A 01 LB7 extended cab with 110,000 miles for $12,000.

All 4WD, all automatics, all LT trim packages.
Both the 05's have sun roofs as well as flatbed being sold with the OEM beds.

The financial bind I'm in, the reg cab is looking like the best option. I'd love an LBZ or B5.9 CR but I just haven't seen any going for $12k with under 100,000 miles on them.

I would stay away from the 01 because they have a lot of injector problems
