taking pictures? while he MAY be doing it for criminal reasons, yes, he also could just like your truck.

Hell, I myself take a few pictures of other people's vehicles. if it's rare and/or old, and/or a type of vehicle i really like, and I have my camera with me as I usually do, I snap a picture or a few. I'm not a thief, I'm a vehicle fanatic, (and an extremely avid photographer, I also take pictures of most anything I like the look of), that's all.

However, I don't climb into strangers' pickup boxes or get really close and touch their vehicles and stuff like that. that's wrong, that does really cross a line. and I don't show up repeatedly like that or anything.

taking pictures? I'd take that as a compliment (while making sure just in case, and having crime protection on the truck, of course). climbing into the box and showing up a second time doing the same thing? yeah, I'd say It's more than liking the truck. I'd worry there and report that to the cops, and keep an eye out, and stuff.

If he showed up once and got a few pics, I'd think he liked the truck and take it as a compliment. (watch it just in case.)

since he actually got in the box, and showed up a second time, I'd say he was up to something for sure. so, yeah, i'd keep an eye on the truck, report it, and be careful.

i do the same if its something that interests me, but i would never take them of the interior unless it was at the lot for sale.

i tried to report it but they told me it wouldnt do any good until something actually happened to my truck.

yeah mostly the same here...I usually only take exterior pics, unless like you said it's at a lot. or at a car show....then i grab interior pics. there have been a few rare occaisions where i really liked an interior and couldn't stop myself from grabbing pics, but i did it quickly from the side, and didn't get real close (or climb in the box lol). and I don't do it often, I try to avoid it.

But from the sounds of it, I'd watch that guy. and you'd think the police would do more too...I do hope nothing happens to your truck.

Wonder if there's a way to wire the ignition coil pack to a mesh on the driver's seat, in case he does get in. Let's just say "a warm reception." Actually, if you did see him, a good laser pointer (preferably on a rifle, .223 or greater) in his face, would let him know that for his troubles, you're willing to donate 50 cents of lead (ammo's been going up in price), and NOT your truck....

Since he shows up on a bike at night..how about black thumbtacks near your truck - will go through his tire and / or sneaker.

Quite often I will wake up in the morning to the tell tale face prints in the window of my F150 and my work truck. I never leave anything in either truck and so far so good. I used to leave items in vehicles all the time, and found that most people who do get broken into way more often. Other than that, I have insurance and hope for the best. If they want my truck or anything in it bad enough, they'll get it. I would really like to catch someone in the act, though. I think it would be truly satisfying to tune someone in.

speaking of this i woke up this morning and had big grease marks on my windows, like some greasy hair queer was looking in my window down wards where my sub and amp are below the seat, and then on the pass. front window where they can see my in dash deck

i know its someone in my neighborhood cause i was building the sub box outside yesterday and put it in that night, along with the double din. truck doesn't fit in my garage with all the **** we have .

Lock you tailgates too. I came out this morning and found my drivers side taillight pulled out like somebody was trying to pull it out. After I commented on this post a couple days ago, I thought it would be a good idea to lock it. I'm so glad I did.
