he showed up again last night about midnight. i had went in to grab something and when i stepped back out he was riding thru the complex headed my way. idk if it was just the sight of a person that scared him off or the Rem. 1100 i had in my hand.

ill catch the one way or another. even if he never gets in my truck, i still want to get my hands on him.

I would sit out there with a paintball gun or a pellet gun. once he starts taking pictures of your truck video tape him doing that, try to get his face or atleast somethin you can identify him if you show the police. then stop recording get kinda close and shoot his *** up!! if he knows your on to him he shouldn't come back, he'll move on to another "target" and "easier target" that isn't on to him. but I would recon and get video an write down info about him like height between 6' and 6'4", skin white black tan whatever, hair color or if he's wearing a hat, and since he's on a bike get a description or a couple photos of that, it is probably his personal bike.

Maybe he just likes your truck? While he is doing nothing wrong taking pictures of your truck, even through windows, crawling into the bed is crossing the line.

My alarm would have triggered the second he stepped into the truck and as long as I was within a mile away and had service to my remote, I would have came running

I agree with KaiGywer above. I would say he's probably up to no good if he actually stepped in the box of your truck. that certainly is wrong.

taking pictures? while he MAY be doing it for criminal reasons, yes, he also could just like your truck.

Hell, I myself take a few pictures of other people's vehicles. if it's rare and/or old, and/or a type of vehicle i really like, and I have my camera with me as I usually do, I snap a picture or a few. I'm not a thief, I'm a vehicle fanatic, (and an extremely avid photographer, I also take pictures of most anything I like the look of), that's all.

However, I don't climb into strangers' pickup boxes or get really close and touch their vehicles and stuff like that. that's wrong, that does really cross a line. and I don't show up repeatedly like that or anything.

taking pictures? I'd take that as a compliment (while making sure just in case, and having crime protection on the truck, of course). climbing into the box and showing up a second time doing the same thing? yeah, I'd say It's more than liking the truck. I'd worry there and report that to the cops, and keep an eye out, and stuff.

If he showed up once and got a few pics, I'd think he liked the truck and take it as a compliment. (watch it just in case.)

since he actually got in the box, and showed up a second time, I'd say he was up to something for sure. so, yeah, i'd keep an eye on the truck, report it, and be careful.
