Default Grille question

I really want to add a honeycomb grille to my truck and have some questions.

Do I have to replace the entire surround?
Will it come with a chrome surround and black honeycomb grille?
If not, anyone got a lead on a red one?
How do you remove/replace this part?

Thanks!

They are two piece, you can pop out the center and so forth. Just be carful. They break easily

What year truck?

Pull the lights out and pop the tabs to get the painted surround off. Don't think a honeycomb grill insert fits if you have the bar style. Would need the whole surround from a junk yard.

You looking for something like this?
Scroll down, there is an all black below the chrome one.
I have an '02 XLT SCrew, can't find just inserts, have to replace everything including the headlight trim....all one piece.

Yea, its a bar-style grille. I dont see Ford lists them as 2 parts, but as one assembly with the surround.

Anyone have a good how-to on how to remove the surround?

Anyone know how to remove the Ford emblem so I can swap it?
