Default Grille

Ok, I did not know that the grille was the whole piece on the front of my truck. I want to replace it with a billet grille, but right now i have the cross bar design on it. is the part with the bars replaceable or do you have to buy a whole new grille with an open spot in the middle of it? If i do have to buy a whole new grille then should i go with the chrome and honeycomb? Does anyone know how i can get a billet grille in there? If someone could respond ASAP that would be great!
Thanks,
Robert

Most billet grilles just replace the center section. The center portion of the grille just snaps in.

Ok Thanks! I was looking at it and it did not look like it would snap in or out, but i did not take much of anything apart.
Thanks,
Robert

Yeah it doesn't look like it would from the outside but it does. I put a chrome grille from an SVT lightning in mine.

I know you found the step by step but its not too bad.. you have to take the whole grille surround out.. headlights, etc. The grille has melted clips to the back of the grille surround. If your truck is newer it may be a little neater, because I had to break off every single clip with a chisel.. that's the hard part.
