Also, you make sure to run the correct schedule 3", scheduled 40 is a little too thick. Have to use the septic pvc. It's a little smaller in total circumference and will fit the factory opening in the engine compartment. With 40 you have to have to widen the opening, that's a PITA. I know, built my own intakes from scratch at one time lol. 3 of them to be exact. One of them I used exhaust piping. Almost 15 years ago for these trucks lol. Still have the pics.

Yea, 3" thin wall, non-perforated, non lined septic. The stuff is used from building to tank, tank to field and also field header pipe I believe. See, I follow my shiiii as well

I think mine is ABS, IIRC. For some reason, I was thinking it was 4 inch though.

I used a 3in Inner Diam or so rad hose when I did the Gotts Mod on my pickup, Tomorrow I can take some pictures with measurements and what not. even used the hose clamp that was on there before.
