Are they covering it? Reason I ask is I am going through this right now on my Expedition. He's trying to tell me that the water is getting to the GEM from a small gap in the steering column boot.... and it's while the truck is sitting. Might have to go to small claims with this asshat.

Try cleaning the Battery cables using a wire brush especially the Negative cable connected to the starter.

Corrosion is the one causing Electrical Problems.
