i heard gearing a truck can do wonders but i dont know to much about it iam looking for a set up will help out my top end speed if thats possable any input would help thanks

 

unless you get higher gears than what you already have then you're top end will only go down and if you do get higher gears your take off will be slower and you wouldnt be able to tow as much.

 

like i said i no know nothing about it should i change it like i wanna be fast but still tow my atv and boat

 

If you want a faster top end and still want the to tow your stuff i wouldnt recommend gears i would go for an intake exhaust and tune but if you want a better launch and better towing i would get lower gear but your top speed wont be as fast

 

i run the 1/4 mile alot so i guess of the line

 

definantly get lower gears. Im getting 4:10's soon myself the stock 3:55's arent doin it for me.

 

that will give me off the line speed but kill my top end

 

not necesarilly kill Im pretty sure that with 27 in. tires your top speed should be between 85 and 95 im not exactly sure what size tire is stock for my truck but bigger tires will get you a higher top speed and smaller tires will give you a slower top speed. Also remember your gonna need to get a new gear for you speedo ore get a tuner chip that has gear and tires changes in it to reset your speedo for it.

 

i wanna run like a 31 soon and about what would my top speed with 31 and 4 10s ?

 

im not really sure I dont have the chart on hand but judging on when i looked at it I'd guess anywhere between 100-115
