I'm sure you can get one at a local NAPA or other parts store. I'm sure Sears has them too.

I'm working on the same thing today. Got a puller from Autozone and have tightened it w/a 3' cheater and it won't budge. I'm open for suggestions too.

By the way FYI I had to take the bolts out of the steering box and move it around until I could get the puller on.

You shouldn't need to unbolt the steering box. Try turning the steering wheel to make enough room. Spray it with PB Blaster or some other sort of high quality rust-buster (liquid wrench sux) and then put the tool on it. If it's so tight that you can't turn it anymore and it still isn't coming off then try hitting the old arm with a big hammer while the tool is holding tension on it. Doesn't matter really what way you hit it (obviously down would be best, but almost impossible to do) as you're looking for the impact to break it loose.

Pitman arm pullers should be available at any parts house. Make sure you buy a decent one and not some cheap Junkanese one.... the jaws will spread on those and you'll never get the arm off.

Yeah, hit it with PB Blaster last night and about 3 time today. Been sitting w/tension for about an hour, I'll go hit on it some.

Also, turning the steering wheel doesn't move the location of the steeing box shaft. It only rotates it so the frame crossmember is in the way however the wheel is turned.

x2 you shouldn't have to move the steering gear. x2 hit it with a big hammer. I guess you don't have an air compressor and a 1/2" impact? Cause that's a much better option over a breaker bar.
