Default Front differential problem

My front diff has something grinding inside when I drive in 2H and when I turn it clunks like its catching something. Could someone tell me what happened here? It will go into 4 but the front wheels won't get any power to them. Maybe broken shift fork? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Jake

Spider gears are all chewed up if the diff is making noise sounds like your going to go find a new diff

First off make sure you get the same gear ratio as your rear axle. Look on you driver back door on the sticker and find where it says axle the will be a 2 letter number code there like H9 are B6 are something like that post it and I can help u get you gear ratio

Right to a scrap yard more than likely the front diff is still good just unbolt it and walk up to the front maybe cost you 50$ if you take it off yourself but definitely make sure you match the gear ratio of the rear

Well I could prolly sell you one but I would have to check and make sure what gear ratio my parts truck is. And I also live like 7 hours away from where u are ha. I would defiantly check all the salvage yards close by u.
