Default Foglight help

Hey,
One of my foglights went out so I figured this would be a good time to match the new blue halogen bulbs I have in the headlights. 98 F150. Looks like factory brackets, not sure on the lights. I included a pic for reference. My foglights have a white and black wire. Black wire does nothing. White wire is wired to turn on when parking/headlights do. One phillips screw on each side holds them on.

Thanks,

Looks like an aftermarket fog light using H3 bulbs. These are not factory lights. Factory lights use a different type harness to plug into the bulb itself. Anyways, your bulb number is H3.

Thanks! I looked and the bulbs are built into the lights so I am gonna end up replacing the whole unit. The wiring job from the previous owner was shabby anyway so I cut the wires after seeing that. Got any suggestions on new ones or does anyone know what kind I have? Blue halogen preferred

Felt the back of the light trying to figure out how the light comes out being, after some research, I saw the light comes with wires on it. I can't figure out how the light comes out. Anyone have experience in this? I love the look of the lights themselves so if I can get away with just replacing the bulb that would be great.

Thanks guys. I figured it out. There is a small screw on the top that holds the bulb in place. Any suggestions on halogen H3 bulbs? Even blue Halogen to match my headlights would be great.

eBay has them for 9.99 for 2.

270711663572 is the auction number.

Click that blue link in the above post and it will take you directly to the part. Sign up for an account, you're done, if you are just buying something and not bidding on it as in an auction. There a numerous "buy it now" items you can get immediately without waiting for an auction to end. Living in Alaska, that is how I've managed to get my Mustang fitted with all the goodies. Otherwise, I'd of never known of somethings or ideas.

Good luck

I've purchased tons of stuff off ebay and have had good luck with it. I wouldnt buy 2 fog light bulbs though. If you have a carquest nearby they carry philips brand lights that are awesome long lasting and reasonably priced. They have blue ones in H3 as well and then down the road if one goes out you can go back and buy a single matching one, which would be difficult if you got them on ebay. Just my opinion though
