My valance on my truck is cracked and has been since I bought it, I don't like the looks so I am going to remove it soon and built a custom bull bar/skid plate to cover the frame rails and add a little protection. Without the valance the fogs look ugly and just get in the way so I'm taking them off.
Question is has anyone ever relocated their factory fogs? Installed them as back up lights, put them behind the grille( I know a lot of people do this with aftermarket lights but I've never seen it with factory lights), frenched them into the front bumper, etc? Seems like there should be a good way to utilize them.
What I wanna build will kind of look like the attached (grabbed from 01f1502wd build thread on here) without the bars to the left and right, it'll be just the middle portion

what you could do is get yourself a 97-98 front bumper and fogs...the fogs were in the bumper those years

Its just one I got on ebay. To be totally honest its not the best since it bolts to the bumper. There is a little give and play no matter how tight you get the bolts. But it looks good. Only thing is I have 2 more of these 8" lights and don't know where to mount them...lol I also have 2. 240w 8" light bars and don't know where to mount them either lol

That sucks. Just get a custom. Have someone bend a pipe and weld it on there
