Default finally finished!

my 3" performance BL is installed, my friend hunter, my brother, and my dad all helped with installing. tuesday my friend and i got started at about 5pm, my brother later showed up at about 9:30pm and we worked till about 5am and then headed to dennys for some very much needed food. got home around 6am, went to sleep and woke up and got back to work at about 11am...i was dog tired. my dad and i finished with the bumpers, bullbar, and making sure everything was tightened down real good.

for those of you that are lookiing to do a lift to your truck be prepared for **** to go wrong, we had to torch every bed mount..which is probably normal, one of the core support bolts seized up in the bushing..we had to grind, drill, and pry out..that took about an hour. directions arent all that clear and you cant rely on the crappy *** pictures they have on the instructions since you cant see whats what, the carpet is a pain in the *** to pull back in the rear of the cab, we just cut holes where the bolts were, front bumper was a pain in the *** to get on, however we didnt trim the frame like it said too..but i couldnt really see why it had to be trimmed, rear bumper extensions suck..the top nuts are almost impossible to get too...unless my brother is retarded and put them on wrong

all in all it was fun, just time consuming and its a learning experience...especially since ive never done one and i dont have any friends that have either, im the test rat. if youre thinking of doing one dont let this scare you off, just take your time and pay attention to what youre doing and have a couple extra hands around to help out.

Did you use a Performance accy lift? Those are the best... And if you did that's as good as it gets. Me and a friend can do one in 8hrs flat that includes the bumpers shrouds etc. Practice makes perfect!

Nice let's see some pics!! Yeah the rear carpet is a pain... I put a 4' 2x4 under it and sat on it like the carpet was the kid on the other side of the see saw haha... Glad ya got it done! I know how much of a pain they can be... I didn't have a problem with the fan shroud cuz I never took it out, nor did I take out the radiator lust let everything move and installed the brackets later...
