im looking for a non expensive glasspack for my f150. it needs to be 2.5 and atleast 33 inches long. and im having a hard time finding it, ive looked in summit and jegs. i just want a nice deep tone

You don't need a 33" long muffler. Get one thats 18" or so and bring it to a shop to weld in.

I totally agree with the 18" long is enogh. If you are after a resonator style can think about a Vibrant. 2.5" openings and 18" long. Cost about $85.00 in Canada at Canada Custom Vehicles and can be shipped anywhere in North America.

yea idk though. i wanted a cherry bomb cause its cheep and i can get it on jegs. but its not street legal so i would have to be able to take it off for inspection

idk man, cause we live in mass. and there really dumb. i dont think it passes emission tests. cause its basically a straight pipe

well the emissions part is the catalytic converter. A muffler is a muffler. It just quiets the sound.

if your lookin for a good deep sound but wanna quiet it up for inspections then try a exhaust cutout. its got basically a header collector with a cap that screws on with three nuts and bolts. i welded mine in right in front of the muffler and man what a awesome deep sound. then when im sick of the noise five minutes and i can quiet it right up to flow through the stock muffler.

i got mine from summit about a year ago for like forty bucks.

that keeps the government types happy
