Damn, I hate to hear that. Good luck with it. I can't wait to hear the end results.

Well, just picked her up at a shade over $500 later. Was one lt green wire under the dash which was frayed, causing all the mayhem and shorts. But let me ask you guys, now when I take the key out of the igination, I get that "ding, ding, ding, ding" like the headlights are on. Never had that before, but maybe cause something was shorted. Just wondering if the tech messed something up, can't afford to keep going back there!

you should be able to take it back and tell them and show them the problem and since it was under them when it "broke" they should have to fix it.

remove the driver side kick panel, there is a wire that bolts to the body. it's a ground wire, i remember when i took my dash apart, i forgot to put this wire back on and my door alarm sounded with the door and no keys in the ignition, check it. not promising that's it, but it was for me, maybe for you. or it could be some other ground wire.

cool, I'll check for that ground wire.THANKS!

Oh, and as just extra stuff, I asked the tech if they got the power moon roof going as well (it's never worked). Said he didn't know about that and would call me back. Two minutes later he called back. It's not a factory power roof! and......he said it isn't even hooked up to the fuse box. What's up with that? So now I am debating if I should just run a little juice to it and see if it works, or leave it alone (closed!)
