Default Epic FAIL in the rain.....

So I am on my way to work the other night, it's raining, I throw on the wipers and crack the window a bit to just above the level of the window vent. It starts raining harder, I turn the wipers up....here's where the fun starts!
Wipers quit. Starts raining harder. I am turning the **** to all the settings, no wipers. Rain starts coming in thru the window a little. Window won't roll up. Figure it's a fuse, pull over and check. Nope! All looks good. Notice the dome lights are out as well. Nice steady, hard rain. Figure I'll limp into work by driving slow.
Go to put the truck in Drive. Transmission won't shift, at all! Shut truck off, starts fine, won't go into gear. No wipers, no dome lights, window won't roll up, truck won't go into gear .
Flat bed tow truck arrives on scene, driver drags truck onto bed, we drop it off at Ford. Ford calls next morning. They 'beleive' the problem is electrical (noooo, really ), want to pull the fuse box and correct the problem....$300.00. All good, get her fixed. Hours go by, no call backs. 5 hrs later, phone rings. Tech advises it wasn't the fuse box. Now their going to go thru the whole electrical system, they'll call me back mon-tues!

well, thry still have no idea what's wrong. The truck keeps blowing something with the brakes, causing the trans to lock. Their going to pull the dash and check the wiring now....

not a lot of great news to report. Some sort of brake relay is shorting out, causing the neutral safety switch to pop, locking the trans. Last I heard yesterday they were pulling the dash apart.
