Plugs, Wires, Fuel Filter, Air Filter, Vacuum Hoses, Clean your MAF with MAF specific cleaner. Pull your throttle body and clean that bad boy out making sure none of the ports are clogged. Check your Iac and Egr valves and make sure they work as they should and you should be good to go.

Your question leaves a lot of questions unanserwed.

How many miles?
What maintain was done and at what mileage?

I'd do what jpervert said plus all the fluids. Front to back. Check suspension parts and replace as needed.

Whoops. Autocorrect. Yea, I missed the engine part, I blame the jack cokes. Well if he can't figure out what a tuneup consists of I'm sure his truck needs a good look over and the stuff I mentioned. You don't usually replace the engine at low miles.
