I don't think that it's good to use the hose at all for degreasing or washing these trucks if you have a 4.6/5.4. Water gets in the spark plug holes and can short coils. Water sits on the plugs and rusts them. I just would use a hand spay bottle and some degreaser and do my best. Just my .02.
