Default Oxygen sensor help

Is there a way to test and see if a oxygen sensor is bad? I got a check engine light for the bank to lean or whatever it is and I really don't want to have to replace all 4 sensors at this time.

Bank one is the side of the engine that had cylinder number one. On most fords that is the passenger side. Bank two is the side that has cylinder number two. Sensor one is upstream, or before, the cats. Sensor two is downstream, or after, the cats. If you have a bad o2 sensor and scan the code it usually tells you exactly which one need replaced.

LOL. Wow. Yea. Don't replace all 4 because you have a check engine light that says "bank lean or whatever"

In fact, I wouldn't replace any of them. I'd do some googlin' and fix the actual problem. 9 out of 10 times a "bank to lean or whatever" indicates an issue elsewhere. The O2 sensor is reading too lean because of another problem.

And that's something I was just thinking about.

Scantool. Lean means to much air or not enough fuel.
