I drive to a public lake with a boat launch and drive in until my hood is covered. Gets the dirt off quick and easy. I don't even have to get out of the truck.

This....make sure keep the engine running. The fan splashes water all around in the engine bay and kind of creates a power washing effect.

Neutralize the Acid using Baking Soda + Water. The Dust from the Graphite Alternator Brush is very CORROSIVE when they get wet.

Disconnect, Spray Electrical Cleaner & Synthetic Lube on all undamaged wiring connectors. Wash it with pleanty of water before Pressure Washing.

I don't think that it's good to use the hose at all for degreasing or washing these trucks if you have a 4.6/5.4. Water gets in the spark plug holes and can short coils. Water sits on the plugs and rusts them. I just would use a hand spay bottle and some degreaser and do my best. Just my .02.
